Orca Season is October to January in Vashon-Maury waters!
Vashon Hydrophone Project partners Mark Sears, Orca Annie Stateler, and Odin Lonning will discuss local research and conservation issues pertaining to our endangered Southern Resident orcas.
The program features Mark’s spectacular slides of whales in Puget Sound and a Tlingit killer whale honoring song by Odin and Orca Annie. Learn from experts who have studied orcas in Island waters for decades why the whales come here and where you might see them!
